But honestly, This past year brought ups and downs for me. This year felt much harder on me than those of the past in a lot of ways. I learned a few business lessons the hard way this year. And I’m grateful for the learning experiences! But I’d be cool if 2025 brought a little less of those. lol\n\nI learned to trust other business owners a little less, because not everyone values your time and energy the same way you do. I was reminded that some people are out for themselves and for those people, friendships are based on what you can do for them. I learned that mixing friendship and business can be messy.\n\nBut I also learned that mixing friendship with business can be rewarding and fun! I focused in on my own little business, family, and self. I experienced my first apparel market, where I learned what to do next time. I’ve said “no” to more things this year that didn’t sit right in my heart. I brought in a model team which felt so daunting that I put it off for years, and I LOVED every moment with them. ❤️\n\nPersonally, I’ve also had ups and downs this year. Losses that have left a hole. And one especially big surprise (watch the end of this reel 😉) that I’ve been waiting to share with you all. \n\nI’m happy to leave 2024 behind, and entering 2025 with a sense of caution. There are things looming that I’m not exactly sure how we navigate yet. But I do know one thing for certain- this community of you who choose to be here, to shop, to show up for me.
